We are eager to invite you to our new BMO ESG Case Competition sponsored by BMO Global Asset Management. RRMA will be partnering with the Responsible Investment team in this case comp which we will kick off on January 10th, 2023.

In this case competition, you will have the opportunity to build an ESG framework for assessing the sustainability impact of the Canadian Oil & Gas industry through the transition to a Net Zero world by 2050 and propose it to BMO judges from the Responsible Investment team and other Global Asset Management teams.     

 

Students will also be competing for an internship in the Responsible Investment team for Summer 2023 (May to August). This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in ESG investments!

In addition, finalists will have the opportunity to network with industry professionals and hiring managers at the BMO building, which is the perfect setting to connect after the final round while enjoying the view and the catering provided by our event sponsor BMO.

Finally, all finalist teams will be awarded money prizes!

Kick-Off:

We will introduce the case, provide all the supporting materials, and address your questions regarding the case competition during the kick-off event. BMO professionals (2-3) will be present from the ESG team and HR.

First Round:

Case submission due on Friday, January 20th, 11:59 AM (EST)

• Student teams will prepare a slide deck for a 15 min presentation.

• The internal judges will review submissions and select a number of finalist teams to present their ideas in the final round. The 5 finalist teams will be announced on January 22th.

Final Round & Networking at BMO building:

The top 5 teams will present at the BMO venue.

​BMO will be looking for candidates to join their Responsible Investment team in the Asset Investment division for Summer 2023 (May to August). The networking session will start after the final round. BMO will provide drinks and appetizers for everyone to enjoy!
