We are eager to invite you to our flagship TD Credit Risk Challenge this year. RRMA will be partnering with the TD Securities Corporate Banking team in this case comp which we will kick off on October 19th, 2022.

The event will be a great opportunity for students to better understand a real-world case on credit analysis and the funding needs of corporations. You might need to go through a credit application seeking to fund either an acquisition, capital expenditure, and/or other corporate needs of a real client of TD Securities. This is also an excellent opportunity to network with industry professionals from TD Securities. 

Kick-Off:
The kick-off event will introduce the case and give advice for students on how they should approach the credit risk analysis followed by a Q&A session.

  • Date: Wednesday, October 19th, 2022

  • Time: 5:30 PM (EST)

  • Duration: ~ 1.5 hours

  • Location: Virtual via Zoom (Zoom link will be provided after registration)

  • Dress Code: Business Casual

  • Registration Deadline: October 18th, 2022, 5:30 PM (EST))


Team Registration:

  • Please register individually on Rotman Hub and also register your teams (4 people with at least 2 RRMA members) via the following link: Registration Spreadsheet

  • If you are looking for a team member, please put your information on the “Looking for a team” tab, and we will help you find a team. Non-member fee: CAD 15

  • Team Registration Deadline: October 18th, 2022, 5:30 PM


Case Comp Overview:

1st Round - Case submission due on October 30th, 12:00 PM (EST)

  • Student teams will prepare a pitch deck in response to a credit application case study involving one of TD’s corporate clients

  • Additional details/instructions to be provided at the kick-off event

  • The RRMA Exec Team will review submissions and select finalist teams to present their ideas in the final round before TD judges

  • All participants will receive feedback on their work

 

Final Round – November 2nd, 1:30 - 4:00 PM (EST)

  • All participants will be invited to the final round

  • Selected finalists will present to TD representatives via Zoom

  • Additional details/instructions to be provided at the kick-off event

  • Following the final presentations and announcement of winners, a networking session will be held for all participants

  • This networking session provides a great opportunity to meet TD Securities professionals

 

Prizes (per winning team)

  • First place: C$800

  • Second place: C$400

  • Third place: C$200
