President
Kaizhi holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Zhejiang University and a master's degree in quantitative finance from Fordham University. Prior to Rotman, he has over six years of experience in commercial banking and consulting within US and China. His areas of expertise include credit and market risk management, as well as exceptional quantitative analysis and modeling skills. Kaizhi holds the FRM designation and is eager to pursue a career in risk management following the completion of his MBA. During this summer, he joined RBC as a GRM Leadership intern. Beyond professional pursuits, he enjoys travelling, hiking, and snorkeling, and likes to play badminton with friends.
Vice President, Internal
Charlie holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Before his MBA, he worked at the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong for four years. He specializes in conducting compliance assessments of securities firms and cryptocurrency trading platforms. Charlie holds FRM and CAMS designations and is interested in pursuing a career in risk management after his MBA. In his spare time, Charlie enjoys playing golf with family and friends.
Vice President, External
Veronica holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Hong Kong. In the past, she worked as a senior associate in the corporate banking department, syndication and acquisition finance team of a listed bank dealing with SOE clients and international conglomerates. She accumulated relevant experience in financial analysis and credit risk assessment. For her summer internship, she works at Scotiabank Global Risk Management team, focusing on APAC corporates and Canadian energy, power and infrastructure credit adjudication.
Vice President, Finance
Charlie has a BA in Economics from Universidad del Pacifico of Peru. Prior to Rotman, he has 8 years of experience in credit risk management, assessing corporate companies from the LATAM region as well as Financial Institutions. Outside of work, Charlie enjoys playing basketball and spending time with friends. This past summer, Charlie interned at SLC Management in the Private Fixed Income team.
Vice President, Marketing
Jasmine received her Honours Bachelor of Medical Sciences from the University of Western Ontario and is currently a JD/MBA candidate at the University of Toronto. She has had experience working in various legal roles, including at the Globe and Mail and at a large full-service law firm in Toronto, and is pursuing a career in corporate law. In her spare time, she enjoys badminton, coffee, walking her dog, and trying new restaurants with friends.
Vice President, Innovation
Andres completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration in Peru and passed CFA Exam Level I. He worked in different investment-related fields, such as financial analysis, real estate, and alternative investments. During his professional experience, he performed financial analyses of Latin American companies for an insurance fixed-income portfolio and real estate projects. He has a strong interest in the banking industry and was part of the Wholesale Credit Risk team at RBC for his summer internship. In his free time, he enjoys travelling and reading.
