TD Credit Risk Challenge 2020

The entire team of RRMA would like to invite you to our flagship TD Credit Risk Challenge which is kicking off on November 2, 2020 – registration is now open on The Hub. The case competition is designed to help you get hands-on experience on corporate credit analysis through a real-world case of TD Securities. This is also an excellent opportunity to network with industry professionals from TD Securities. A unique aspect of this case competition is that the case is regarding one of actual corporate clients of TD Securities.

Kick-Off

The kick-off event will introduce the case and give advice for students on how they should approach the case analysis followed by a Q&A session. One industry professional from TD will be most likely to join the kick-off and he will give an introduction of the case.

Competition Overview

1st Round – Submissions due November 8 @ 10:00 PM (EST)

Student teams will prepare a pitch deck in response to a corporate lending case study involving one of TD’s corporate clients
Additional details/instructions to be provided at the kick-off event
TD Securities will review submissions and select up to 5 teams to present their ideas in the finals
All participants will receive feedback on their work

Finals – November 10 @ 7:00 PM

All participants will be invited to the finals
Selected finalists will present to TD representatives via Zoom
Additional details/instructions to be provided at the kick-off event
Following the final presentations and announcement of winners, a networking session will be held for all participants
This informal networking provides a great opportunity to meet TD Securities professionals

First place: C$600
Second place: C$300
Third place: C$200
